So, now that I've asked about your babysitting experiences, let's move on to other work-from-home scenarios. What works/worked? What didn't?
I'm not talking about being the next Mary Kay Ash, I'm just curious about doing something part-time from home again. Besides my lucrative blogging career, that is.

ReplyDeleteI have toyed with the idea of a home-based business myself. Some of the things that interest me are:
Soapmaking
Card Crafting
Wrapping presents for people during the holidays...
Notice that I said I've toyed with these ideas? Yeah, I've never actually DONE any of them. But I'm inviting some friends and relatives down to my house next month for a day of card-making and visiting. Should be fun!

ReplyDeleteI know a lot of FAs do crafty things on the side, especially ones that are easily portable. My mom knits, for example. She was always coming home from trips with jewelry, cards, etc, that she had purchased from other FAs. You have a built-in customer base!
The card-making sounds like fun. Maybe you'll post about it?
