When I was looking for topic suggestions, Alisa asked, "How about some fun cookies to make with kids?"
I love cake mix cookies, especially these:
Confetti Cookies
Double Chocolate Chewies

And Bisquick cookies are good.

Fruity Pebbles! I would never have thought of it but what a great idea. Hope you have a lovely spring feverish weekend!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Thank you for re-posting the pistachio cookies! I was dying to make them after you posted them originally...then didn't get back online for a while...then I forgot WHERE to find them...then I forgot to LOOK for them. And wow! Here they are! I am printing this recipe out RIGHT NOW. Maybe I'll make 'em over the weekend!
ReplyDeleteGrace, We make cookies like that, too. With TONS of chocolate chips!

CAQuincy--they're good with other puddings, too, esp. chocolate.
I remember those pics! Okay, I challenge you to make a cookie from my book with K this weekend ;)
ReplyDeletei may have to try the confetti cookies.
ReplyDeleteYum!
ReplyDeleteI'm bookmarking those for when my monsters are bored witless this summer!
ReplyDeleteI am a bit leary of cake mixes right now. These look wonderful, though! I may just have to break down and order some peanut-free mixes.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful holiday weekend.

I always thought the picture in your header was a dairy free pizza or something with red, green, orange, and yellow bell peppers! LOL! Now I feel much better knowing they are cookies. :)
ReplyDeleteHey there. The movie I was talking about was Fireproof. I'm gonna blog about it.
ReplyDeleteIn short: you should watch it. Everyone should.
Yay! Mary and I made the pistacchio cookies for her Girl Scout Fly-Up ceremony tonight. I pointed out to her how PERFECT they were because they were GREEN--for Girl Scouts! (And they only have four ingredients--which were ALL physically present in the house--so they only took tired/not-feeling-so-great Mom two minutes to mix!). Um. Yay!
ReplyDeleteThanks again! (Will have to try the chocolate pudding next!)
