Toddler, diplomas

So.  There is an 18-month old in our house today.  This does not fill me with as much sadness as I would expect, probably partly because this is one of my favorite ages and he is just so much fun right now.  Such a cheerful, helpful little guy.

I continue to try to beat back the clutter in our house and either use things or get rid of them.  I want to hang my diplomas (BA and MA, not high school) up somewhere in the house.  Even when I was still working full time, I had a cubicle, not an office.  I've never hung up my diplomas, and I'm tired of them living under my bed.  My mom used to have hers up in the kitchen; my neighbor's diplomas are in her playroom.  I'm thinking over my dresser in the bedroom.  Where is/are your diplomas?

P.S. I totally stayed up late and finished Catching Fire last night.  So worth it.

  1. For some reason I didn't realize that Graham and Jameson are so close in age- Jameson turned seventeen months old yesterday. I do love this age, too, EXCEPT for the eating part. I feel like half of what I do all day is try to find food Jamie will/can eat, and then clean that food up from his hair and his hands and his clothes and behind his ears, not to mention the high chair pad and the tray and the floor and the DOG and everywhere else his food ends up. It drives me to tears some days!
And my diploma is in a box. It's just high school, so nothing to be uber proud of, especially where I went to school! Jim's are all in a box too.

  2. There is no way that Graham or Jameson should be that old. Ugh, time is flying.

I don't even know where my diplomas are. I think one is still at my parents' house. I guess I should find it. DH has his by his desk in our basement.

  3. We need a playdate!

Scott and I have our HS diplomas displayed together on a shelf in Scott's basement 'office' area. Aw. I made him hang his other one up in his real office, since I had it framed for him and all.

  4. Our diplomas are on our bookcases in the office. Mine aren't standing up right now (folded them to dust and never unfolded them) though...

  5. Aw, he's so cute! Can't believe he's 18 months already.

My diploma was ruined when my apartment flooded in the great Fargo Flood of 1997, so it's gone (that's what I get for storing it in a cardboard box on the floor of my closet).

  6. My BA diploma is propped against the wall in my closet, gathering dust. My MA diploma? NO IDEA. Hmmm.

  7. All of ours are in the office downstairs...where no one ever looks at them. They may as well be under the bed!
