  1. The in-laws arrive on Tuesday, and sometime between now and the 30th, Junior will come too. So, I am just trying to get the house cleaned up before any of that happens. Luckily, it is just cleaning and not remodeling (since we did that the last two years).

  2. I am forcing my husband to drive me to Indiana so that I can see my father and brother. We'll also see many of our friends--and hopefully his sisters/nieces/nephews. We can't leave until Thursday morning, which is making me CRAZY!

We're heading to Boston to spend Thanksgiving with my husband's family.

  4. Holy smokes! Great job! Do you want to move in w/ us? I think that's more progress than what's been made in the past 3 years, here.

Thanksgiving plans are just going to J's parents. We'll probably make a side or dessert to take along, but stress-free for the most part!

  7. Sounds like things are coming along with your kitchen.

This is the first year that we are hosting Thanksgiving. I am cooking the majority of the food to accomodate my kid's food allergies. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. My side of the family is coming over for dinner. We are all local so I don't have over night company which isn't a bad thing.

  9. Whew! You're doing great. We'll be heading up to my parents' house for the weekend. Thanksgiving lunch (at 1:00) at my grandma's and Thanksgiving supper (at 4:00) at Matt's aunt's house. I know, I know, I'll have to pace myself.

  10. That's awesome! I'd hire you any day to come do that for me. Our Thanksgiving plans have now been cancelled as the baby is sick with a fever and no one wants her cooties (not that I want to share that hell with anyone). I see a restaurant in our future...

  11. Wow! I thought I was going to be busy. I'm in awe of people that live their daily lives, get all the routine stuff done, and still manage to do home renovation and updating and such. I sure hope your guests appreciate all the sprucing up you've done.
**and about the parental comments (on my blog) yes, it is depressing and this is one issue where I am surely too sensitive.
